This Season's River Feature

This season brings on new and exciting chances for adventure in the wilderness of Alaska. This season come experience one of Alaskas finest all-around fisheries on the Talachulitna River. Located roughly 80 miles NW of Anchorage in the heart of some of the most beautiful Alaskan wilderness, (upper region of the Susitna river drainage), this fabulous river is truly one of a kind. Few rivers in Alaska provide the spawning habitat to allow for all species of Salmon to run and this is an exception.

From mid June with the arrival of the King Salmon to the middle of September and the final runs of Silver Salmon this river has them all. Due to this amazing habitat the Talachulitna river also features some of the states most incredible trout fishing there is! Rainbow trout ranging from your average size (20”) with potential for those bigger 30” Bows. Grayling, Arctic Char, and Dolly Varden can be found most days throughout the season. The Talachulitna River is truly a Flyfishermans dream river and it is ready for your lines to be swung through to fulfill that lifetime desire for exceptional fishing!
